This is a handmade Dresden Plate pattern quilt, measuring 92 inches long by 62 inches wide. Made by Grandma Avery in Ashland Oregon, probably in the 1940's. Handed down to her daughter Mary J. Peterson (her daughter-in-law), and then to James L. Peterson (in 2010). Sue Orchard thinks she might have used in in high school and/or college (1970's).
